Now we're Cook'n -- Recipe Organizer! Ends 10/20/12

I have so many cookbooks -- but most are in storage right now. My all-time favourite? The famous Westinghouse Cookbook from the 1950s. It belonged to my Nanie and she taught me to cook with it.

I've been meaning to organize my recipes, but they are completely disorganized and out-of-hand. I just can't seem to get myself together.  All of that paper just makes a HUGE mess.  Things get lost and tossed, paper rips and tears.  Ink fades.  It's hopeless.

When I was asked to review the new Cook'n Recipe Organizer, I was elated! This is such an amazing Kitchen tool!

Cook'n is an amazing tool for moms and their families. With Cook'n you can enter and organize all of your personal recipes, create meal plans, make shopping lists, print family cookbooks, analyze nutrition, easily scale recipes, and more. With the newest version, you can search for and find the best recipes on the internet using the Cook'n Recipe Browser. When you find one you like, simply click CAPTURE and it will automatically import it into Cook'n in seconds. The software is helping families stay organized, save money, eat healthier, and enjoy more home-cooked meals. The new year is an excellent time to talk about these benefits!

I didn't know quite what to expect when I downloaded the Cook'n Recipe Organizer. I seriously wondered how much it would help me.
What I discovered was a true blessing: it's quick, easy to use, and filled with a stunning array of recipes and useful nutritional information.

The first thing I noticed was the ease of the Recipe Software download and installation. That's a plus -- no complicated installation requirements.

The introduction notes and video tutorial are simple and easy to follow. Another plus.

The first thing I tried was the internet search function and it's fantastic. I even searched some obscure (well, some might find them obscure anyway) recipes: Haggis and Toad-in-the-Hole and it found several different versions of both! I used the CAPTURE function to save them alphabetically in the database.

You can make up your own recipes, save known recipes, create your own cookbook (I did that already, too!), and just get creative with recipes.

You can even purchase and download other cookbooks! How utterly cool is that?

OHMIGOSH! I am in love! :D

I've got too many favorites: my sister's shrimp alfredo; my grandfather's spaghetti; my dad's meatloaf; Stan's (a friend of the family) Calico beans; my stepmother's Company Potatoes. And that is just the snowflake at the tip of the iceberg.
