Name-A-Star (Personalized Gift) Review and Giveaway Ends 2/22/14

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

How many of us gaze longingly... lovingly... at the stars?  Perhaps, we're searching the heavens for that one special star... or maybe we're making wishes on the first bright evening star.

When I learned that you can have a star named after someone, well, I knew exactly what to do!

You see, our oldest daughter is expecting a girl-child in March.  Yep -- I'm going to be a Nanie! I am so excited... we've been wanting this for a while now! :)

Naming a star for this precious baby is perfect.  She'll always know that she is our beloved angel.

Name-A-Star is the perfect place to find that star and name if for a loved one's special occasion. The price is reasonable (ARV: $12.99), it's easy to do, and the package is delivered via email within 24 hours!

*(The above certificate is a sample and is not my own).*

The Certificate is lovely -- it's simple but meaningful.  It includes the star's co-ordinates in the night sky.  You can download Google Earth, type in the star's co-ordinates, and Google will go straight to it!.

Imagine the fun of knowing there is a star of your very own.  And imagine how special and loved someone feels when knowing that someone cared enough to give them an ever-lasting gift.

You'll also be able to leave your loved one a personalized message that they will see everytime they look at their star on Google Earth!

I am so happy with the certificate that I received and I can't wait to give it to our grand-daughter. She's going to be our special star, I can assure you!

You may connect with Name A Star on their Facebook Page as well as their website.

The folks at Name A Star have generously offered THREE of my readers the opportunity to Name a Star of their own! Just follow the entry instructions below for your chance to enter to win!

***Please follow all entry instructions carefully. All entries are verified. Open to USA only.***

This is such a clever idea. My son, who loves science and science fiction would get such a kick out of it. I like that he would receive a certificate with the location of the star to find with his telescope.

I have always thought that Name A Star was a neat idea. It's a different kind of present that a person doesn't expect. So it's a REAL surprise.

I would name a star in honor of my brother who passed in August of 2013. We were very close and use to watch the stars.

I would name the star after my Mom, Rose who passed away Feb. 28th, 2013. This way, her kids, grandkids, and her great grandkids, will always have something that was named after her. What a wonderful way to memorialize somebody.

I would name the star after my Dad, who passed away almost four years ago. He was a big Star Trek fan and he was really into stargazing - we had a huge telescope and we used to try to find different stars, planets, and other things (and this was long before the Internet!)

I would name the star for my mom who passed away 2 weeks before Christmas. We used to go outside at night when I was little and just look at the stars together.

You don't have to be an astro-physicist to appreciate a unique and touching gift to a loved one. A simple, cost efficient way to say "I love you, you're out of this world". You're not assigned a star, you actually choose it yourself. Large, small, near or far, it's a star designed by you for your loved one.

By the way, I love you son.

Dad

My chosen star is for my son, my beloved. I don;t need a special day or reason. It's a unique way to say "You mean the world to me son".

For whom will you name your star?

Do not know at this time.

For what occasion?

Again, would have to come up with something.
