Squatty Potty Review and Giveaway Ends 3/12/14

DISCLOSURE:  I received a Squatty Potty to facilitate this review.  I received no monetary compensation.  The opinions expressed herein are my own and based on my own use of and experience with the item(s).

Let's be honest.  This is a rather delicate, very personal subject: Elimination. We all do it -- daily. We just don't discuss it in public.

I going to break the often taboo subject.

Mike suffers with Irritable Bowel Disease.  Medications can relieve much of the pain and some of the symptoms.  There is no 'cure'.

But relief is now available and it's not medication.  It is... The Squatty Potty!

Yes, I know.  It does sound a bit cutesy.  However, it also works!

Mike has found some relief at last.  We're both happy about that.  I hate to see Mike (or anyone) in pain.  It's terrible.

The Squatty Potty is a patented designed:

Ergonomic Design
• mimics natural squat posture
• slightly raised heel for comfort
• wide stance platform for stability
• opens the colon for fast, easy elimination

Features
+ strong and durable
+ stores under any toilet
+ doctor recommended
+ family-friendly

Provides Relief
- constipation and bloating
- hemorrhoids and straining
- IBS / IBD (Irritable Bowel Syndrome / Disease)
- pelvic floor and bladder issues

When it first arrived, I seriously wondered what this little stool could do for anyone with digestive health / colon issues.  After reading the press releases and watching the videos, it was time to give it a real test.

Mike, who I thought would be reluctant, was eager to see if it helped him.  It took a few days for him to realize that he really was getting relief from the IBD and the issues that accompany it.

As Mike continues to use the Squatty Potty, he sees improvement in his symptoms. It's not a cure-all, but it IS an amazingly helpful, useful tool in combating his condition.

This video is self-explanatory and will give you great information about the Squatty Potty and it's health benefits.

If you, or someone you know, is suffering with digestive issues, I highly recommend this product.  It is an invaluable tool in relieving symptoms.

I didn't realize that sitting a certain way would help so much.

I learned that squatting is the way we are designed to "go" and that this is the healthiest way to eliminate constipation and bloating. I really want to try this.

I'm glad and impressed that one is still sitting and that by squatting it takes pressure off us!

I learned that our colons are 3-6 feet long. it's amazing what is carmmed into our bodies.

I learned that the colon has a natural kink and that by squatting instead of sitting the kink relaxes and you are able to go fully

First, let me say that I did not realize that body position made a difference. Coming from someone who suffers from IBs with constipation, anything that will help is beyond wonderful. I learned from the site that the standard sitting position blocks the flow of waste.

This is interesting, but not the first time of heard of this theory. I know a few folks who may benefit.

I suffer from IBS, and after reading about this product, no one ever told me that your positioning could help with some of your symptoms. I can't believe no doctor has ever told me that.

It is ergonomic and provides relief for hemmoroids. Makes we wonder why we don't make all toilets with this design incorporated.

I educated myself on how sitting this way can help with constapation
