Nostalgia Electrics Review & Giveaway Ends 10/30/11

As the winter holidays rapidly approach, now is the time for party planning.
We L*O*V*E parties!

Fall Festivals,Football, Halloween, Birthdays, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Winter Carnivals, New Year's Eve... you name it and we're all over it!

What better way to celebrate than with amazing, old-timey foods such as pretzels, donut holes, cake pops, brownies, cotton candy... Oh, yum!

We were delighted to hear that we'd been chosen to host a review of Nostalgia Electrics and their amazing products.

Simone Signoret once said, "La nostalgie n'est plus qu'elle était! (Nostalgia ain't what it used to be!)  No, it's even better as proved by the wonderful old-fashioned machines created by Nostalgia Electrics.

We received the oh-so-cool Hard and Sugar-Free Cotton Candy Maker:

The Hard Candy/Sugar Free Cotton Candy Maker transforms your favorite hard candies into fluffy, melt-in-your-mouth cotton candy. For a low-calorie treat, sugar free candies can be used. Simply plug in, turn on, pour yummy candies into the center receptacle, and start spinning colorful and tasty treats. This fanciful product is fun for the whole family and brings out the kid in everyone. People love to collect the delicate webs of cotton candy on their cones while circling the translucent pink bowl. Instantly, gatherings are transformed into carnivals and dessert time into party time!

We took it a young friend's birthday party and (to his Mom's delight) substituted sugar-free candies for sugar-based candies. The kids never noticed and the parents were thankful! :)

It's so easy to put together as most of the pieces are fairly large. It's a quick set-up, easy to use and clean, and quickly put away.

If there is one drawback, it's the fact that it comes with only two large plastic cones. A quick trip to the party store for smaller paper cones, however, and the problem was solved.

Because the Hard and Sugar-Free Cotton Candy Maker uses hard-candies, your choice of flavours is almost unlimited. Peppermint, butterscotch (my favourite), strawberry, apple, watermelon... the list goes one and on.

With both Haloween and Christmas candies now readily available -- your holiday party is guaranteed to be a hit.

And, of course, the fact that you can use sugar-free is a M*A*J*O*R bonus. My future son-in-law is diabetic -- this is perfect for him. He and Lizz like LOVE to host football parties and you know college kids still love their cotton candy.

The folks at Nostalgia Electrics love to share their enthusiasm for old-fashioned fun with their customers. You can connect with them on their Social Media pages:
