Carolina Pad -- Who's ready for a Road Trip? CONTEST CLOSED!

CONTEST CLOSED!

I am so ready for a break this Spring! It's been a long, cold, rainy, dreary winter in Southeast Georgia!

So, Liz and I were delighted when we were blessed to receive the Road Trip Collection from Carolina Pad!

We received 2 each of spiral-less, personal notebooks, and two-pocket folders.

This set is just perfect for taking on trips during Spring Break or Summer Vacation -- and it's really going to come in handy for Liz as she and my Daddy are taking off up the Eastern Seaboard to Canada in early June. They'll be traveling on my Daddy's Goldwing Trike! It promises to be quite the adventure as they travel from Savannah to Nova Scotia.

Liz has promised to record her thoughts and memories of the road trip in her notebooks for me to read later. I can't wait! She can keep other mementos of the trip in the pocket folders: menus, maps, receipts, tickets, photos.

I've been using my notebooks, too.

You see, I have so many stories told to me by my Nan. I don't want to lose them. I want to keep a written record to pass down to Liz' children one day. Computers crash... disks get scratched... hand-written notes in notebooks I can keep in the cedar chest.

My memory is long, thankfully, and I am remembering even more as I write these stories.

Carolina Pad offers so much for the student or writer in the family! They have Planners, Calendars, Folders, Pens, Pencils, Binders, Dividers, Notebooks, and Calculators! Everyone in a cool, sassy design!

Carolina Pad is a company that cares about it's customers and values their opinions. You can connect with Carolina Pad on Facebook and also @carolinapad on Twitter!

They'd love to have your input!

Carolina Pad has generously offered one of our lucky readers a Road Trip Collection set consisting of:
*2 Road Trip spiral-less notebooks
*2 Road Trip personal notebooks
*2 Road Trip two-pocket folders

  1. We were going south with another family. Mom finally got her courage up to drive part of the major freeway, and at night! We were following the other family when they veered onto the off ramp, no warning, no directional. Mom handled it great and followed quickly. It wasn't until we were stopped that we saw that she was gripping the steering wheel so tightly that her knuckles were white!

  34. One time in college, a friend wanted to go home. Another friend said he'd drive him home and a few of us tagged along just because. Well, we got to his town, and he couldn't remember how to get to his house. (And I PROMISE none of us were drunk.) He claimed he never went into his town of about 25,000 the way we came into it!

  37. I had a boyfriend that would get freaky deaky every time we went away together and create these huge dramatic fights. I finally broke up with him then had to drive 6 hours home together - he pretended to read the whole time and I sang along with Alice in Chains for 6 hours. He fled as soon as I pulled in my driveway!

  40. We took our two kids and went on a road trip last year to Charleston, SC. My kids loved seeing the antebellum homes, plantations, Fort Sumter, Fort Moulter, etc. We also stayed in a condo on the ocean which gave us a chance to cool off between sightseeing. It was a great time and we even all got along on the long trip over and back. Thanks so much! pamelashockley(AT)netscape(DOT)net
