CONTEST CLOSED!

If you´re looking for homemade taste but don´t have the homemade time, then look no further than Pillsbury® Grands!® Mini Biscuits, the new freezer-to-oven biscuits that come warm, fluffy and fresh from your oven in just minutes.

Bring the mouthwatering aroma of fresh-baked biscuits to your kitchen when you serve up Pillsbury® Grands!® Mini Biscuits!

Pillsbury® Grands!® Mini Biscuits are the perfect size for kids, or for mini sandwiches and appetizers. There are countless recipe options, from miniature ham sandwiches come lunchtime, to delicious sliders for nighttime entertaining. There are so many ways to make these biscuits and your family will love trying each one.

I love using the new Pillsbury® Grands!® Mini Biscuits in recipes, both savory and sweet.

This recipe is a quick and easy Peach Cobbler that Liz and I have made before -- with a few minor, tastier adjustments!

Sweet & Spicy Peach Cobbler:

INGREDIENTS:

1 package Pillsbury® Grands!® Mini Biscuits
2 large cans sliced Peaches in Heavy Syrup (drain, reserving liquid)
1/2 cup frozen cranberries (thawed and drained)
1/3 cup light brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg

DIRECTIONS:

Drain liquid from Peaces and reserve for later. Place peaches and cranberries in a large bowl. In a separate bowl, mix sugars, cinnamon, and nutmeg. When mixed well, add to peaches / cranberries. Mix thoroughly to coat the fruit.

Place in a 9 X 9 casserole baking dish. Pour approx. 1/3 of the liquid from the peaches over the mixture.

TOPPING:

In a bowl, mix 1 cup of sugar, 1 tsp. cinnamon together. Stir well. Dip each biscuit into the mixture and coat well. Place the biscuits on top of the peach mixture until the top is covered.
Bake at 375 Degrees until the biscuits are done.

Trust me -- it's yummy!

I just made pot pie with grands biscuits. Chopped left over cooked turkey, 1 packet turkey gravy, 1 can mixed veggies, drained, 1 C. chopped onion, enough biscuits to cover the top. Mix all ingredients but the biscuits in a casserole dish. Top with biscuits and bake at 350 until hot and bubbly and biscuits are done. YUM! trinitygsd at yahoo dot com

Heat 1" vegetable oil to boiling in a skillet. Separate grands biscuits and slightly stretch, punching a hold in the middle to a doughnut shape. Drop the biscuit in the oil and cook until browned on bottom and then flip. Once second side is browned, remove and lay on stack of paper towels to drain. Once drained, toss in granulated sugar to coat. Delicious doughnuts!
