Skillet Bacon Jam -- Review!

I recently had the opportunity to review a new food product called Skillet Bacon Jam.

This bacon-based spread is the brainchild of the folks at Skillet Street Food.

Well, we take a big bunch of really, really good bacon and render it down...add a bunch of spices, onions, etc. and let it simmer for about 6 hours, give it a quick puree, blast chill it...take a left turn, and end up in pure bacon heaven.
For specialty food purveyors, wine shops, cheese stores and other retailers, Skillet Bacon Jam bacon spread in jars is an exciting condiment to add to your selection. And for restaurants and cafes, our restaurant service packs are a fabulous way to use Bacon Jam as an ingredient in your food preparations.

We tried it with crackers and cheese as well as a spread on pita triangles and hot buttered toast!
