COMBAT Source Kill Max Ant Gel: Review & Giveaway, Ends September 1, 2012

Ants.

They are pesky little creatures. I am also deathly allergic to them. The Black ants sting like crazy and sent my into scratching spasms, the Red ants bite and off I go to the ER for treatment. Not fun.

When I was offered the chance to receive two new products from Combat that tackles the hard issue of getting rid of ants. It's no easy job.

You see, ants live in colonies. You can kill a hundred and still not reach and destroy the source of the nest. That's why I'm impressed with Combat. Their products are designed to take the poison directly back to the colony.

I received two fabulous items:

Combat® Source Kill Max Ant Killing Gel:
Benefits:
*One of the fastest active ingredients you can buy to kill ants
*Insect nerve poison kills ants by contact or ingestion.
*Starts killing ants in hours so you can see immediate results.
High secondary colony kill. Kills ants in a domino effect, eliminating the source of the infestation.

These get the job done! No foul-smelling sprays that kill one of two ants but no more. No messy traps to toss away. Just an easy application and easy disposal. I really appreciate that!

These products from Combat® go to work fast. You'll notice a swift reduction within just a couple days. It rather takes a load off of your shoulders when you can stop worrying about the pests invading your home.

Combat® has a fantastic Sweepstakes going on right now! You could win $1000 and an assortment of Combat® products towards a Bug-free Backyard Bash! How cool is that? Hurry! The Sweepstakes ends on September 14th at 3pm PST

Rinse all empty food and beverage containers. I got to get my family to rinse out their bottles and cans after they drink cola.

Use Combat 12 Month roach baits wherever you see roaches, and protect your home for up to an entire year. (I'd like to see if this would work.)

I learned this, very informative, I hate ants and especially roaches.

Why aren’t ants and roaches trapped in the bait stations?
Answer: Baits are not traps or motels, and bugs will not stay in the bait stations. Roach bait and ant bait work to kill the nest, the source of the infestation. "Source kill" happens when ants and roaches eat the bait in the bait station and then carry it back to the nest. Because the bait is transferred back to the nest, baits are more effective than traps, which only kill the insects that come to the traps.

Place Combat Source Kill or Combat Source Kill Max baits around the room: on your countertops, under appliances, near any water sources or drains and in any cupboards or drawers in the room where you are finding roaches.

Roach killing gel and ant killing gel contain more water than do solid baits, so they are generally more attractive to insects.

I learned that the active ingredient in our Combat® ant baits and gels have been designed specifically for ants and has been shown to have a low order of toxicity in animals such as (non-insect) household pets.

You will see more ants initially with the bait and it just means that the bait is working.

To create a barrier against insects, keep areas where insects like to hide away from your home. Keep mulch, shrubs and trees at least one foot away from the walls of your home and stack firewood away from the sides of the house.

if you have ants in your home it is because they have found a food source.... that would be my kids leaving crumbs!! I have a new home and I have ants in one specific area... I need to get rid of them!!
