Ponderosa Roasting Company Review and Giveaway! Two Winners, Ends 11/27/12

Coffee Fiend

Seems a good way to describe me, doesn't it? LOL!

I admit it -- I wear the title proudly. I am ALWAYS on the hunt for great coffee. Sometimes, it's a hunt with a satisfying conclusion -- sometimes not. On this hunt -- I am perfectly satisfied!

I discovered the Ponderosa Roasting Coffee Company a bit by accident: I was searching for an episode of Bonanza! I found Ponderosa by pleasant accident! Reading about the company intrigued me.

 MISSION:
*One of our goals in roasting coffee is to support farmers by buying beans that the farmers get their fair share of the profits.
*The other goal is to have coffees with a purpose. We roast for several worthy causes, Team in Training, Pretty In Pink, and the Denver Down-syndrome Foundations. All 3 are doing remarkable work in helping people by raising money towards cancer treatment for people that can't afford health care in North Carolina (pretty in pink) a cure for leukemia (TNT) or children and the families of Down-syndrome.
*We want to do a coffee ministry more or less that helps people in need of help and this is the start of that business. As you notice we also do a lot of other coffees which allows us to support our family while helping support others.

Another company that gives back to the global society. I admire the effort that Ponderosa Roasting is making to give back and I know you do, as well.

I was truly blessed to receive a bag of their Decaf Costa Rican coffee. And it is brilliant!!! As you know, when reviewing coffee, I always drink my first cup black -- no sugar, no cream, to get the full effect.  It's a rare coffee indeed that impresses me so that I make a second cup without sugar.  Colour me impressed!

Costa Rican Coffee has a lovely, bright nutty flavour with a hint of fruit, very well balanced! Rich, yes. But not "burnt" or bitter. And oh... the aroma when it's brewing is heavenly.    I wish they'd find a way to capture that aroma in an air spray... *giggle*.  I'd never leave home!

I am a great fan of this coffee. I am enjoying it immensely!

There are also coffees that support causes near and dear to the company's heart: Coffees with a Cause benefitting Pretty in Pink Foundation, Claire Bear's Beans, a blend created for the MHDSA fundraiser "Stepping Up for Down Syndrome", Ex4Vets, Real Men Fight Like Girls, and Team in Training.

Ponderosa Roasting offers coffees from many regions of the world: Indonesia, Africa, and the America.

They also offer so many delightful flavours: Bavarian Creme, Brown Sugar Cinnamon, Christmas in a Cup, Pumpkin Spice, and much more!

The wonderful folks at Ponderosa Roasting would love to hear from you!
You can connect with them on their Social Media Pages:  @PondeRoastingCo on Twitter, Pinterest, and Facebook.

They have generously offered *TWO* of my readers the chance to experience their amazing coffee!  Just follow the instructions below for your chance to enter to win!
