True Citrus Review and Giveaway Ends December 1, 2012

I drink a lot of water.  And truthfully, sometimes it gets a bit... boring.  So I'm always looking for something to perk it up and make it interesting!

I've actually been using True Lemon for a couple of years.  I discovered it at a local Japanese Steakhouse.  Instead of messy lemon slices (and icky seeds), they served up a few packets of True Lemon with each drink.  I was hooked.

The Lime made my day.  I adore lime in my cola -- even more so than lemon!  And, of course, the lime is perfect for making margaritas! :)

The Orange is great, too.  I like to use orange in baking and drinks.  It's brilliant NOT to have to squeeze or zest an orange for simple dishes.   It makes for a delicious Orange Bundt Cake!

There are so many ways to use True Citrus products: Baking, Cooking, hot and cold beverages, as a topping for popcorn, nachos, and so much more!

This is one of my favourite True Citrus Recipes:

Cucumbers in True Lemon Cream Sauce

Ingredients

1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup buttermilk
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
black pepper
6 packets True Lemon
2 teaspoons sugar
1 tablespoon dried chives
4 cucumbers slices thin and peeled

Directions

*Whisk together all ingredients except cucumbers
*Place cucumbers in 9 x 12 dish and pour cream sauce over cucumbers
*Chill for 1 hour or until serving time
