I love salt scrubs! Now, growing up ocean-side in Georgia, we'd just go down to the beach and scrub our feet and elbows with the wet sand and rinse off in sea-water. That's fine when you're sixteen, but... at 54, I prefer something a bit more refined.
I've used Adovia products for several years, but this is the first time I used their Dead Sea Salt and Body Scrub.
The first thing I must say is that this scrub is simply beautiful to look at. It's ocean blue and it smells good, too!
It's not a harsh scrub. It's gentle enough for the face and neck, but I also used it to exfoliate my hands, elbows, and feet.
While the salt gently exfoliates the upper-most level of skin, an infusion of 21 minerals and essential oils are moisturizing the skin's deep layers.
I prefer using a washcloth -- so I use about 1 teaspoon of the Adovia Dead Sea Salt Scrub on the wet cloth and gently wash my face. It feels so good on the skin: cool and so soothing. It doesn't leave my skin red or scratchy.
My skin feels new and smooth and looks incredibly bright and rejuvenated. One of the neatest things is that there is no need to use a moisturizer after using the exfoliating scrub. The oils in the scrub leave the skin absolutely silky soft.

I was blessed with naturally curly hair -- thick and strong -- and I want to keep it that way. I have tried so many shampoos and experienced so many disappointments. Rather than moisturize, some shampoos stripped my hair of it's natural oils while the accompanying conditioner added too much synthetic oil and made my hair look greasy.

The first thing you'll notice is the light, clean fragrance. Not over-powering. I have quite short hair, so I used about a quarter-size dollop of shampoo. The lather is thick and luxurious -- leave it in your hair for about two minutes. Leaving it in your hair allows the healing elements to deeply penetrate your hair and absorb completely. Rinse thoroughly. The shampoo rinses clean and leaves no film. I like that!

Its recommended that you work the conditioner into a lather and distribute throughout your hair. Leave in for at least two minutes for maximum absorption and penetration. Rinse well.
I used a little more conditioner than shampoo because I needed that complete coverage and absorption. About a quarter-size should suffice for people with short hair like mine.
Use these two amazing products together for best effect. Three months is suggested to see best results.
Two weeks of use and I can see the beneficial effects already. My hair feels thicker, stronger, and healthier. Frankly, I think my hair just looks better. The curl is bouncy (people are asking where I got the perm!), my hair doesn't feel dry and brittle, it's soft. I am very pleased with my experience with Pura d'Or and will highly recommend their products.
