You may recall that I recently reviewed an amazing fishing reel, the Kastking Orcas 4000.  Happy Husband and his pal, Scotty, absolutely love it.

Scotty is quadreplegic.  So that reel is perfect for him.  It allows him to truly participate in the fishing process because of it's design and ease of use.

The Fish Grip and Scale are necessity for every serious fisherman.  Fish are slippery, wiggly creatures -- the grip allows the angler to hold the fish tight to safely remove the hook and transfer the fish to the creel or even return to the water if it's a catch and release.

For Scotty, this exceptionally tight grip is a blessing.  He no longer has to fight to keep the fish secure as he releases the hook and makes the transfer to his creel.  No more lost fish means a more successful, pleasant, and stress-free trip.

The easy-to-read digital scale allows the fisherman to weigh and measure (required in most areas by Fish and Game Wardens) the catch. The numbers display is large and accurate.

I was recently given the opportunity to have Happy Husband review the amazing KastKing Orcas 4000 Spinning Reel from ePoseidon.

I truly wish you could've seen the huge smile on his face as he opened the box and discovered what was inside!  He was in fishy-heaven!

It didn't take him long to open the box, find the right pole, and rig it up!  He chose a 20 lb weight line for his first rig.  That's perfect for the waters around Savannah.  Moon River is Mike and Scottie's favourite fishing round. They catch a lot of Spot-tail bass, sea trout, brim, mullet, and perch. Generally, they fish from the boat, but occasionally off of the dock.

Isn't that simply a gorgeous reel? It has great action, metal construction, stainless steel bearings and shaft.
At 12 ounces, it's a mid-weight reel with tangle-free action and cast.  The spin is about 2 inches.
