Happy Husband is on the road quite a bit as a Surveyor and he needs to keep his phone close. Unfortunately, the truck has no place for it. So, when asked to review the Universal Cell Phone Holder, we were very happy to do it! The minute we saw it we loved it. It's very easy to attach to either windshield or AC vent. It's adjustable and the phone is easily and quickly removed and replaced.
Mike has an HTC Inspire and mine is a Samsung Nexus -- both fit the holder. I believe any phone will work with this holder.
Mike likes it because it prevents anything in the truck bouncing off of the phone, no drink will spill on it, and it doesn't go flying when he brakes. We've all had that happen. While I'm new to smart phones, Happy Husband has had one for ages. He was always calling just to tell me that his phone was dying. The cobalt blue night-light that illuminates the dial is actually quite soothing. We have it on dim and it gives off such a nice glow. I like the way it keeps me from tripping all over myself in the middle of the night!
The Alarm. OH. MY. GOSH. To say that it is loud is an understatement.
We first tried out the alarm in the daytime and it seemed a bit loud but I didn't think too much about it. In the middle of the night -- it sounds like The WHO are holding a concert right in your bedroom! Between the wail of the siren and the flashing lights... I kept waiting for Pete Townsend to break into a guitar solo! ;D
