Blanchard's: The best coffee in the world! Ends 10/10/12

I drink a lot of coffee.  By a lot, I mean that a pound bag lasts... I don't know... a week.  Or less.  Fully leaded or Decaf, it makes no difference to me.  All I want, all I demand is taste and quality.  That's where Blanchard's Coffee comes in to play.

I first heard of Blanchard's Coffee in fall of 2011.  Every review, every customer comment was glowing.  You KNOW I had to try it.

This is where words fail me -- this was the best coffee I have ever tasted.  I don't say that for the sake of this review.  I say it because, for me, it is absolutely true.

If you are a coffee fiend addict aficionado, you will understand!

Blanchard's Coffee company is an independent, family-owned coffee roastery in Richmond, VA. They roast almost daily and have been since 2004.

The coffee that is delivered to the customer is fresh roasted and packaged and the flavour shines through in every cup.  There is NO bitterness.  I have tried their darkest roast, Dark as Dark, and found it smooth, bold, and extremely deeply noted.  But not bitter.  Every coffee drinker knows that bitterness ruins a great cup of coffee.

You will not be disappointed .  Trust me.

As many of you know, I am addicted Blanchard's Ethiopian Harrar: This is a medium roast, 100% Arabica Bean coffee. Everything you love about trail mix, now in liquid form! A smooth, balanced coffee with notes of dried cherries, milk chocolate, ripe blueberries, and just a touch of salt. A discerning palate might also pick up some red hot cinnamon hidden away
.

Oh, where to start? The first thing I picked out was the Blueberry and Chocolate notes... then, at the end, the finish of cinnamon.

Hi, I'm Terri.  Will blog for coffee.

Yes, I do drink and enjoy other coffees.  I will not deny it.  Occasionally, I DO run out of my Blanchard's or I'm at a place where I have to drink something else.  But I always come back to my one true love.

Give Blanchard's a try -- and you will not be disappointed.  And you will never be truly satisfied with anything else ever again.  Ask me how I know.

Connect with Blanchard's Coffee through their Social Media pages:  Blanchard's Coffee Blog, on Facebook, and @drinkblanchards on Twitter.

Coffee Fool Review & Giveaway *3 WINNERS* Ends 10/31/11

Everyone knows by now that I love coffee. It's the world's worst kept secret. ;D

I actually discovered Coffee Fool a few years ago. But when we moved, I lost track of them. In my never-ending search for coffees, I found them again! And I am so very happy that I did!

Coffee Fool is unique. They believe in the premise that coffee MUST be packaged, sold, and brewed as soon as possible after roasting. It really DOES make a huge difference in your coffee-drinking experience.

I received several bags to try and they came as whole beans. I have to admit -- I freaked. I only buy ground coffee and had no idea what to do!

Mike, Bless his heart, trotted off to the store to buy me a coffee grinder. What a tremendous difference that made! Is there anything like grinding your own beans and just revelling in the aroma of the coffee? WOW.

Did I say I freaked? You should've seen me after that first grind and cup! BLISS!

I emailed Coffee Fool and told them *THANK YOU*!  The Whole Bean experience has really opened my eyes and my mind.

I received the following whole bean coffees:

Decaf English Toffee:(American Medium Roast)

Not even the guards at Buckingham Palace can resist smiling at the thought of this buttery treat. All the good stuff is here, like a bit of caramel, some chocolate, a little cream. Great for cutting through the morning fog.

When I opened that bag... it was like opening an oven with Sticky Toffee Pudding. The aroma is... seductive. It got even better after I ground the beans. It permeated my home.

I decided to have my first cup black -- no cream, no sugar. This coffee is not bitter, there is no burned taste, no after-taste. This is the difference between a truly fresh packaged coffee and a coffee (bean or ground) that has been over-roasted and left to 'age'.

My second cup, I added a couple of teaspoons of sugar and caramel cream. Ahhh... heaven.

My second selection was the Decaf Dutch Chocolate ( American Medium Roast)

Centuries of holding back the sea has taught the Dutch a thing or two about how to make everything in their life...stronger. So if you thought your chocolate coffee couldn't possibly get any more chocolatey, we give you a lock-tight guarantee that it can.

Again, my first response was to associate the heady aroma with food (why is that???) -- this time Chocolate cake. Chocolate just touches so many responses in my soul... :)

My first cup, again, was black. The chocolate hits the back of your throat and lingers pleasantly. This is *THE* perfect coffee for iced coffee and / or a frappe.

I made one pot just for iced coffee. I ground the beans, let the coffee cool a bit, added sugar and sweet cream to taste, then allowed it to cool a bit more before refrigerating. This put every coffee house I've ever visited to shame.

Coffee should be a somewhat sweet beverage naturally. The next time you make coffee, breathe in the aroma, take a long, lingering sip. Is it bitter? Burnt? Does it have an after-taste? Not signs of true freshness. You won't find that with Coffee Fool Coffees.

Coffee Fool offers so many coffees in both whole bean and ground. There is something for every coffee-lover here! Just browse around and dream... then make it a reality by buying it up! The prices are very reasonable and the shipping is fast.

The folks at Coffee Fool have generously offered *THREE* of my readers the chance to win a bag of Whole Bean Coffee for their very own! How neat if that?

I have three coffees to give away:

1. African Cinnamon (American Roast Light / Medium)

If you don't have time to fly to Morocco and haggle for a little cinnamon in your coffee, let us do it for you. Just don't be surprised if your curtains smell like cinnamon after making a brew of this highly aromatic spice.

2. Brazilian Santos (American Roast Medium)

The very best coffee from Brazil. A smooth flavor and medium body that will have you daydreaming of late mornings in the Brazilian sun. So dust off those bossa nova records, sit back, and relax with a cup, or two, or three...

3. Columbian Supremo (American Roast Light / Medium)

A South American classic. The full body, mild flavor and balanced taste of this coffee reminds us of that favorite rich uncle we wish would visit more often. Don't be a stranger, have your "uncle" over for coffee.

Just follow the directions below for your chance to enter!

Contest open to USA only. One entry per person per household, please. Contest ends at 11:59 EDT October 31, 2011. *All Entries Will Be Confirmed*
