NUTRIDEL COOKIES -- Review and a GIVEAWAY!

The wonderful folks at Nutridel sent me a sampling of their wonderfully delicious cookies and sent a couple of packages for me to share with you!
These cookies come in four wonderful flavours:
Oatmeal, Almond, Pecan, and Flaxseed.

From the Nutridel website:
The brand is a concoction of the words “NUTRItious” and “DELicious”, exactly what our cookies represent. Our products are 100% natural, contain no additives, preservatives, artificial colorings, flavorings or sweeteners of any kind. They are loaded with seeds, grains, nuts, fiber and sweetened with a touch of molasses.

I sampled the Almond and Pecan cookies. Oh, my. What can I say? These thin, round cookies are loaded in flavour. Sweet... but not too sweet and quite filling as well! I ate mine crumbled into yogurt one morning and topped with mashed banana this morning! The crunchiness is amazing!

The cookies weigh in at approx. 59 calories per cookie, just 1 gram of fat, 1 gram of sodium, no cholesterol, zero trans fat, no dairy / egg products, and there are 2 grams of protein and fiber + Omega-3 and anti-oxidants!

Did I mention that they taste fantastic?

Right now, these cookies are only available in stores in California and Oregon but you can order directly from the website.

If you'd like to try a sample pack of these tasty cookies, just leave a comment below telling me HOW you'd like to add them to your food plan!

For extra entries, post a link to the giveaway on your Blog, Twitter, and / or Facebook!

I'll post the winner on FRIDAY (Nov. 13) morning!

Is the flaxseed sweet, too? If not too sweet, it sounds like something I would like to add to my cottage cheese.

A bit sweet, but not too sweet. Would be great w/ cottage cheese!

Oatmeal or Pecan sound good.

I'm not a cottage cheese person - it's about the only dairy I don't like (and of course the only dairy that's great for losing weight!), but I think these would go well crumbled into a fruit and light-yogurt parfait. Or, you know, on their own - because they sounds awesome :)

I think i'd top a fruit and yogurt parfait with them :) Or crumbled on yogurt. Or how about crumbled on top of a baked apple??
