I chose a new long-sleeved casual dress polo shirt for Mike -- the colour is Cool Grey.

This is the Port Authority K500LS Long Sleeve Silk Touch Polo.  Isn't this a gorgeous shirt? It's silky soft.  I did buy it a bit larger than usual, but Mike wears undershirts in the winter and I wanted to ensure a loose fit.

The shirt is available in Men's sizes XS to 6X and in 10 classic colours.  At $17.58, it's a true bargain.

   

I also found a fabulous classic cardigan for him to wear when we're out.

I AM A PLUS-SIZE WOMAN!

That's right -- you heard me! And I am just fed up with ugly "fat clothes".  Just because I've gained (and kept) extra weight doesn't mean I don't want to look stylish and fashionable.  I DO!

It's sometimes very difficult for women my size (smaller and larger) to find clothing that looks chic, upscale, and modern.

Wild orange florals are NOT for me. I look like a pumpkin.  Black may be slimming but it's also rather maudlin at times. I love colours that whisper rather than shout.  Comfort, too, is very important. I like clothes in which I can function: work, play, club, and travel.

Surfing the net for plus-size shops, I discovered, to my happy surprise, the amazing cushie b.  I fell in love immediately. Beautiful clothes, thoughtfully designed.  Clothes that will fit me and all of my plus-size sisters of the heart.

This is the divine Teal Blue/Navy Draped Kimono. Lovely, is it not?

It's also available in Silver Grey/Black and Deep Red/Wine in sizes 1X - 3X.

I was delighted when the folks at cushie b offered my the opportunity to review an item of clothing for them. I must've spent 2 hours trying to decide... I finally narrowed it down and asked them to choose for me!

When the package arrived... I actually cried.

I received the stunning Periwinkle Blue Cozy Draped Blanket Cardigan.  Oh, how I wish that it was winter coming on and not summer!  I want to wear this all the time.

The photos do NOT do this cardigan justice. It was a rather warm day, too. Darn it.

The back is long and covers my backside (thankfully).  It will be such a blessing come the cold weather.

The Cozy draped blanket cardigan has a cable back yoke and ribbed sleeves. Made of 100% extra fine merino wool.  It retails for $155.00 USD.

Please keep in mind that you are looking at a woman who is barely 5' 3" (Happy Husband claims I am only 5' 2").  This will definitely fit differently on a taller woman. I am wearing a 3X and truthfully wish I'd ordered a 2X.  I've lost more weight than I thought!

The cardigan is super lightweight, making it perfect for spring and summer. I love it!

. Beautiful, isn't it? I felt quite feminine in this lovely cardigan. Sadly, it was cold and rainy today. So the shirt beneath the cardigan was a bit thicker than I'd normally wear with it.

I do want to bring to your attention the way the black filigree lace highlights the colour of the shirt. Isn't that just too cool?  I received several approving and admiring comments on the cardigan today.
